(Scranton, PA) A pregnant prostitute had been in labor for four hours without seeking medical help on Saturday when police found her lying on a couch in a North Scranton garage using narcotics, authorities said. Jennifer L. Pasco, 33, of 13 Alpha St., was charged with recklessly endangering her unborn child, three counts of illegal drug possession and four counts of possessing drug paraphernalia. City police had sought to arrest Ms. Pasco on an outstanding prostitution charge when they tracked her Saturday to a garage next to her home. She then told them her water had broken and "she had been leaking for about four hours." Ms. Pasco admitted she was high on narcotics at the time of her arrest, Assistant District Attorney Corey Kolcharno said. An affidavit alleges Ms. Pasco "had been in the use of heroin and marijuana" while pregnant and did not receive medical attention after her water broke, which was cited as grounds for the reckless endangerment charge. After police called an ambulance, Ms. Pasco allowed officers to search her. In her purse they found two bags of heroin, a bag of cocaine and a bag of marijuana, along with six empty bags, according to an affidavit by Officer Anthony Gieda. Police also said they found a crack pipe, filters and other paraphernalia. Hospital officials told police that Ms. Pasco's girl was "coming down from a drug high" and would remain at Moses Taylor, according to arrest paperwork. The baby will be placed in the care of Lackawanna County Children and Youth Services.

Talk about being depressed the rest of your life. This poor little girl comes into the world feeling like she's on top of the world, trippin balls on all sorts of drugs, thinking that what she was just born into is a good thing. Now she's going to be in with drawl while Children services keeps her off the crackpipe. Poor little bastard child.

One can't help but sympathize with little Jenny Pasco here. I mean do you know how little health coverage she's got to be getting from her pimp? I know Obama is trying to do the right thing here, but shit, its hard out there for prostitutes with the way this economy has been. Bitch didn't want to ruin all her nice furniture in house so she just goes hopping from garage to garage trying to save a buck anyway she could. The economy has hit everyone hard.
